I enjoyed the location near the underground (London Subway).

I didn't enjoy at all the room. Very noisy, no a/c, no telephone, poor breakfast, etc, etc. I would not recommand it at all.

We booked a family room (5 Adults) but the hotel had some problems with bookings and we got 2 separate rooms. It was not a problem for us. The hotel is in an old house but bathrooms and showers are new. Breakfast was really good though it was continental breakfast. The staff was very friendly. Hotel is near the underground station.

    Fabulous

The location is very close (5-10 min walk) to the Tube, with a grocery store and cafe right across the street.

The size of the room (2 twin beds) was incredibly small, but typical of a 'backpackers' London trip.

    Very good

The hotel was clean, and in a good location a 5-10 min walk away from Hammersmith tube, and the Hammermsmith river walk. The family room had space for a family of four, and was bigger than others I have been in.

Our room was right at the top of the hotel. This meant that on an average summers day the room was very hot, without air-conditioning. There also was no lift, which didn't bother us, but might not be good for others. The wifi did not work in our room. The breakfast was fairly basic, by London standards (it is advertised as continental and includes a three cereal choices, some instant coffee, yoghurt, and two slices of toast and some cooked eggs).

the staff were friendly and helpful on arrival.the room was clean and coffee and tea making facilitys were a welcome addition after our journey to london.the bathroom was clean but very small it was impossible to sit on the toilet and close the door.the hotel was easy to find and very convenient for our visit but a very noisy road spoilt chance of good nights sleep.the hotel i felt was good value for money if you plan a short break.

    Very good

The hotel is clean and nice from the outside and inside. Clean and newly repaired lavatory.

A little bit too noisy, no hooks or wardrobe for clothes, no iron, the room for two people was too small, the breakfast had a very limited choice, in fact no choice at all, the toasts were hard and not crispy, scrambled eggs cold... I didn't like the breakfast.

    Superb

Good location for tube, giving easy transport around London. Breakfasts were excellent though bacon would be appreciated with the eggs (a more traditional English breakfast).

    Clean, good beed, good location

Room too warm (no air condition) and too small (no table or chair), didn't accept Amex, didn't sell tickets for public transport, poor breakfast (not even real coffee!), no chairs to sit outside in front of hotel or at the back

    Very good

The location was handy, especially as there was plenty of free parking in the streets behind the hotel at the weekend. It would have been useful to be made aware of this before I arrived to save me paying a parking fee.

the breakfast - probably the worst I have ever had at a hotel.

    Fabulous

The Saba Hotel is a really nice hotel with a nice atmosphere and friendly and helpfull staff. It is quite new so the rooms are in a very good condition. We stayed in a room with five beds. It was a bit "crowded" beacause we are a family with three elderly children, but it was perfectly fine anyway. I also liked that there was a fridge in the room where we could keep evening meals. It was also very close to Tesco grocery store which was very good. The bathroom was really nice and clean and the beds were comfortable. I can really recomend this hotel to anyone coming to London. To stay here is great value for the money you pay!

The airconditioning was a bit poor (or non excisting!) so it was very warm in our room on the top floor. But then again - we were there when it was really hot in the beginning of June. It takes about ten minutes to walk from the underground to the hotel and if you are tired after spending all day walking in London this can be negative. But we managed.

Appreciated the warm shower and amount of duvet layers on our bed. Pleased we had local television channel itv; this helped us to stay updated with the weather forecast for where we were staying. Location is brilliant for local attractions like the Apollo and the Underground. Very handy having useful shops nearby such as Newsagents, Laundrette, Pubs for dinner etc.

The room advertised soundproof walls - they couldn't have been any thinner; every knock, bump, conversation, laugh and footstep could be heard from our room. There was no table in our room to iron our clothes on or make a cup of tea - there was a simple wooden dining chair with tea making facilities on. The walls were not clean. Our net curtain had stains on. The toilet is ridiculously small, so much so that everytime we sat on the toilet, our heads were in the sink! Our tv remote did not match our tv; it was a completely different make! It seemed as if it was picked out of a box of random remote controls and just thrown into our room for show! Therefore was completely pointless having it as it did not work. Was not pleased with the layout of the room; the bed situated directly underneath the window sill made no sense at all, the chill from the poorly fitted windows was freezing. Having to go outside to the building next door for breakfast seemed slightly odd. Not sure why the building hasn't just knocked a wall through to extend a hallway leading to the dining area in the main building. The fire alarm in our room had a mens white sport sock stretched over it, and it was filthy! Very disgusting. And strange. The fridge was located stupidly - it meant we could not open our bathroom door fully, making it a struggle to check ourselves in the bathroom mirror. Speaking of bathroom mirror, it was way too small! A full body mirror is needed on the wall compared to the postage stamp we had. The staff were very disorganised. Having been told to wait another half an hour for our room to be ready, we were not happy when a member of staff fell through our door after settling into our room for all of 2 minutes, just to give us a clean towel. He later knocked again to give us a few hand soaps. Overall, very claustrophobic room. The space in the small room is not used greatly.
